NZ Playcentre Federation in New Zealand is seeking a Centre Coordinator for 14 hours per week during term time, with sessions on Monday 9.00am–3.30pm, and Wednesday and Friday 9.00am–1.00pm. Working in collaboration with centre whānau and other centre support staff, the Centre Coordinator focuses on building adult capability and confidence. This enables adults to progressively take greater leadership in sessions and centre responsibilities, supporting a whānau-led environment.
As the Person Responsible on session, this role provides high quality support and pedagogical guidance to Playcentre whānau. The Centre Coordinator ensures sessions and programmes reflect Playcentre Philosophy and enriches children’s learning and development.
