Job summary

Fisher & Paykel Appliances Ltd in Auckland seeks a commercially minded Central Demand Planner to shape demand planning capabilities and support informed business decisions.

You will lead the Integrated Business Planning process across product categories and markets, combining statistical forecasts with market intelligence to create a reliable demand signal that guides supply planning and inventory optimization.

Qualifications

• Experience in demand planning, supply chain planning or a comparable analytical role.
• Strong forecasting and data analysis capability, including interpretation of forecast accuracy metrics.
• Experience working within IBP, S&OP or similar integrated planning environments.
• The ability to influence and collaborate with diverse stakeholders across a complex business.
• Strong systems capability and confidence working with demand planning, ERP or forecasting platforms.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
• A continuous improvement mindset and strong commercial awareness.

• Ensure alignment between demand plans and financial objectives.

• Build strong relationships across commercial, operational and supply chain teams.

About the role | Penrose, Auckland

We're looking for a commercially minded and analytically strong Central Demand Planner to help shape our demand planning capability and support informed business decision-making. Reporting to the Central Demand Planning Manager, you'll be responsible for generating and maintaining high-quality demand forecasts across assigned product categories and markets. You'll lead the Integrated Business Planning (IBP) process for your portfolio, combining statistical forecasting, market intelligence and stakeholder inputs to create a reliable demand signal that supports supply planning, inventory optimisation and commercial success. Working across Product Management, Finance, Sales, Distribution Planning and Supply Planning teams, you'll influence decisions that drive performance across a global business.

What You'll Be Doing
