Placements24 is seeking a highly organized Catering Event Manager to oversee the planning and execution of a broad range of catering events in and around East London. You will translate client visions into flawless executions, manage budgets, coordinate staff, and ensure exceptional guest experiences while working in a hybrid model of remote planning and on-site supervision.

This role requires strong leadership, superb communication, and a deep knowledge of catering operations to deliver

Qualifications

• Proven experience as an Event Manager or Senior Catering Coordinator.
• Strong understanding of event planning, logistics, and catering operations.
• Excellent organizational, multitasking, and time-management abilities.
• Superb communication, interpersonal, and client-relations skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing event requirements.
• Knowledge of food safety standards and service protocols.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and execute all aspects of catering events, from initial client contact to post-event follow-up.
• Develop detailed event timelines, staffing plans, and logistical arrangements.
• Manage event budgets effectively, ensuring profitability and client satisfaction.
• Supervise on-site catering staff, providing clear direction and support during events.
• Liaise with clients, venue managers, and vendors to ensure seamless event operations.
