Job summary

Compass Group New Zealand is seeking a reliable Catering Assistant to join the ESS team at Burnham Military Camp on a permanent part-time basis with 4 guaranteed hours per week. If you enjoy preparing quality food and great coffee, delivering friendly service, and working as part of a supportive team that values safety and well-being, we want to hear from you.

You will assist with food prep, serve coffee, handle POS, and maintain clean kitchens and dining areas while following health and safety

Qualifications

• Experience in hospitality, food service, catering, or customer service environments
• Confident preparing coffee and providing outstanding customer service
• Friendly, positive, and able to build great relationships with customers and teammates
• Reliable, hardworking, and able to work independently when required
• Good communication skills and a strong team-focused attitude
• Food Safety Certificate (Unit Standard 167) is advantageous or willingness to obtain one
