Compass Group New Zealand is looking for enthusiastic Catering Assistants to join CHt Karaka in Auckland. In this casual role, shifts are offered as required to support business needs, with no guaranteed hours, delivering high-quality food service while maintaining a clean, safe, welcoming environment for residents.

If you are a team player with a flexible attitude, you will thrive here. NZQA Food Handling certificate desirable; experience in catering or cleaning is an advantage; weekend rates

Qualifications

• Experience in catering or cleaning is an advantage.
• Knowledge of food safety practices or NZQA Food Handling Certificate (Units 167 & 168) is desirable.
• Able to work autonomously when required.

Responsabilités

• Prepare, portion, and present meals while adhering to food safety standards.
• Provide warm, friendly customer service and respond promptly to resident needs.
• Maintain clean and hygienic dining, kitchen, and public areas, including waste handling.
• Assist with stock rotation and replenishment of supplies.
• Follow health, safety, and infection control procedures at all times.

You will play an important role in delivering high-quality food service while helping maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for residents.

• Prepare, portion, and present meals while adhering to food safety standards.
