Job summary

LSG Sky Chefs, Auckland airport, is seeking reliable team members for food assembly roles, plating meals and preparing food and equipment for airline passengers.

You will work with Transport and production kitchen teams in a temperature-controlled environment at standing workstations. Ideal candidates have attention to detail, can follow simple work instructions in English, and have valid NZ work rights to work full-time.

Qualifications

• Must be able to follow basic work instruction documents (speak & write in English)
• Valid work rights enabling full-time work in New Zealand

Responsibilities

• Plate meals and prepare food and equipment for airline passengers.
• Work with Transport and production kitchen teams to load aircraft supplies.

LSG Sky Chefs is an airline and retail catering company operating throughout New Zealand. We operate a service to airlines departing from Auckland, Wellington, Christchurch and Queenstown Airports.

Our Auckland team is based at the airport and is responsible for preparing meals and other catering supplies and then delivering and loading our products onto aircraft and removing inbound airline supplies.

This role is in our food assembly area. You will be a part of the team that plates meals and prepares food and equipment items for airline passengers.

Experience in a process environment would be great, but what we really value is your reliability and enthusiasm. You will be working with our Transport and production kitchen teams, and you need to be someone who can get on with everyone!

Ideal candidates will have:

• Be able to work in a temperature-controlled (cold) environment
• Work at standing workstations
• Be able to follow basic work instruction documents (speak & write in English)
• Preferable previous experience in a pick and pack job
• Valid work rights enabling them to work full time in New Zealand
