Job summary

HealthCare NZ is seeking a compassionate and motivated community Support Worker to join our Hastings team. In this role you will provide practical and emotional support to clients living at home or in the community, helping them achieve goals and live fulfilling lives.

Key duties include meal preparation, accompanying clients on outings, medication support, personal care, bowel care, manual handling, and hoist transfers. A positive attitude and good communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Positive attitude and desire to help others.
• Healthcare/caregiving experience preferred but not essential.
• Great communication skills and weekend flexibility.
• Healthcare qualifications advantageous.
