Job summary

Ka Puta Ka Ora Emerge Aotearoa is a national provider delivering mental health, addiction, disability, offender rehabilitation, wellbeing and housing services in New Zealand. Our Youth Service supports rangatahi on their mental health, disability and wellbeing journeys, working with a multidisciplinary team to create a safe and empowering environment for young people to build confidence and life skills.

Qualifications

• Experience in the mental health and/or addiction sector.
• Experience working with youth.
• Current First Aid Certificate (including CPR), or willingness to obtain one.
• NZ driver's licence and valid working rights.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Hourly rate 25.67–30.52 NZD (placement depends on qualification).

Our Youth Service operates 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, with shifts across:

• 7:00am - 3:30pm
• 3:00pm - 11:30pm
• 11:00pm - 7:30am (wake-over)

This is a casual position, so flexibility to work across a range of shifts, including weekends, evenings, and wake-over shifts, is essential to meet service needs.

To be successful in these roles, you'll bring:

• A Level 4 Health and Wellbeing Certificate (or higher)
• Experience within the mental health and/or addiction sector
• Experience working with youth
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
• A full New Zealand driver's licence and valid working rights
• A current First Aid Certificate (including CPR), or willingness to obtain one
• Hourly Rate $25.67 - $30.52 (placement will depend on the level of your qualification)
