Nelson Marlborough Health is seeking a Registered Nurse to join the Emergency Department/HDU team at Wairau Hospital. A NZNC practising certificate and at least two years of post‑registration experience in Emergency or Critical Care are required. Applicants who can demonstrate flexibility to work in ED/AAU will be considered.

About the Role

We are looking for a Registered Nurse with a minimum of 2 years of experience in Emergency or Critical Care Nursing. Applicants with other clinical experience may be considered if they can demonstrate the potential to work in our Emergency Department or High Dependency Unit/Acute Assessment Unit (HDU/AAU).

We have a small but busy Emergency Department at Wairau Hospital with 2 resus rooms and 13 treatment spaces and provide a supportive and nurturing workplace to assist staff to meet the challenges of this diverse area, at the frontline of the acute health care service.

About you

• You will be a NZ Registered Nurse with a current NZNC practising certificate and will have at least two years of post-registration nursing experience.
