Job summary

Avis Budget Group at Christchurch Airport is hiring a Rental Operations Agent for an entry-level, casual role. You will be the first point of contact for customers, greeting them and processing rental transactions at the counter.

You will inspect vehicles for damages, assist with cleaning, and learn our rental systems. A Class 1 driver’s licence is essential, along with hospitality or retail experience. Flexible hours include mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• Previous experience within retail, hospitality, customer service or similar roles.
• Full, clean, valid class 1 driver's licence is essential.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while delivering exceptional customer service.
• Comfortable learning and using various computer systems to input rental information.

Responsibilities

• Greet and interact with customers at the counter.
• Market products and services and complete rental transactions, contracts and bookings.
• Inspect vehicles for damages and assist with cleaning.
• Work 7 days a week, 7 am–10 pm as required.
