sKids is seeking a Casual Programme Assistant to help run afternoons and after-school activities for Tamariki at sites around South Auckland/Franklin. You’ll supervise and support children in a range of fun, safe activities, keep spaces welcoming, and assist the Programme Manager to run energetic sessions.
This reliever role is flexible, no weekend work, with a 2.30pm–6.00pm shift, and perks including a 50% discount on sKids programmes and a referral bonus.
At sKids, we believe childhood should be full of laughter, learning, and adventure! Since 1996, we’ve been creating awesome out-of-school experiences for Tamariki across New Zealand. Today, we welcome more than 3,800 kids every day at over 170 school sites – and we’re still growing!
When you work with us, you get to unleash your inner child. Think: messy art, science experiments, sports showdowns, cooking classes, and plenty of silly games. No two days are the same – and that’s how we like it!
As a Casual Programme Assistant, you’ll be the friendly face that makes the mornings and/or afternoons unforgettable for children! You’ll be working mainly in the afternoons.
This is a reliever role, so you’ll be rostered on an “as required” basis – perfect if you’re after flexibility while still making a big impact.
Here’s what you’ll be up to
