An exciting opportunity to join the Cleaning/Orderly Service team has become available for a Casual Orderly. Applications are invited from experienced candidates to fill this vacancy. You would be working as part of a dynamic team within our hospital and will be responsible for:
Providing Orderly duties to the clinical and non-clinical functioning areas of our hospital, meeting all compliances whilst supporting and abiding by infection, Prevention and Control guidelines, acceptable Health & Safety practices and cleaning industry standards. Helping to promote and foster a team environment that enhances partnership and cooperation.
We currently have a team of approximately 12 staff including casuals. The service operates between the hours of 06:00 22:00 hrs, supporting two shifts, including weekends and all public holidays. You would be expected to be flexible around these hours.

Ideally you will have Basic first aid and CPR certification.
Have a clean and current full drivers licence.
Good time management, ability to prioritise, ability to work under pressure in a busy environment and independently.
Have proven knowledge of Health and Safety in the workplace. (Desirable)
Have effective communication skills and computer literate in (MS Word and Outlook).
Be willing to gain further formal qualifications.
