Job summary

Waterford Village in Hobsonville is seeking a friendly Casual Café Assistant to join our team at Oceania Group. You’ll help deliver a welcoming café experience for residents, visitors and staff while providing great service and quality coffees.

As casual shifts arise, you’ll cover periods of leave and higher demand, support with kitchen duties and café presentation, and work with the wider team to create a warm, home-like environment across our village.

Qualifications

• Barista skills or café experience required.
• Strong customer service skills and a friendly demeanor.
• Ability to multitask and manage time effectively.
• Team player with a flexible approach to casual shifts.
• Eligible to work in New Zealand.

Responsibilities

• Provide friendly and attentive service to residents, visitors and guests.
• Prepare and serve quality coffees and other café items.
• Assist with day-to-day running and preparation of the café.
• Support general kitchen duties, cleaning and café presentation.
• Collaborate with the wider team to deliver a warm, welcoming experience.
