Job summary

Rightmove Recruitment is seeking Carpenters to join our team in Christchurch, Canterbury. You will be working alongside a small team of great people on different projects.

Your expertise will be essential in ensuring high-quality workmanship and customer satisfaction. Hours of work will be 07:00am to 4.30pm/5pm Monday to Friday. Starting pay rate will be $32.00 - $38.00 per hour. PPE provided and ongoing support from the Rightmove Team.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years' experience in a construction environment.
• Excellent knowledge of carpentry techniques, materials, tools and equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Commitment to workplace health and safety.
• Excellent time management and organisational skills.
• A keen eye for detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
• Formal qualification in Carpentry preferred but not essential.
• You will need your own full tool set.
• Full licence and own work vehicle.
• 2 contactable references.
