Job summary

Extrastaff, a Labour Hire Company, is hiring full-time carpenters to support project work across New Zealand. You will work on commercial, residential, and infrastructure construction sites, with site locations based on project demand.

Applicants should have at least 2 years of carpentry experience or a level 4 qualification, be able to travel or relocate across the country, and maintain high safety standards. Nationwide assignments across the North and South Islands are available.

Qualifications

• 2 years experience in Carpentry or relevant occupation, or level 4 qualification.
• Able to work independently and adapt to new environments.
• Strong work ethic and commitment to safety.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret construction drawings
• Formwork, framing, cladding, and finishing work
• Construct, install, and repair structures
• Maintain health and safety standards
• Work on rotating project sites across the country
