Job summary

Tradestaff is seeking a skilled carpenter to join a solid pipeline of construction projects across Cromwell. If you're an experienced chippy who enjoys varied work and takes pride in quality workmanship, this is a great opportunity to get involved in residential builds with commercial projects also coming up.

Location is Cromwell, Central Otago with an immediate start and pay rate of $32–36 per hour, paid weekly.

Qualifications

• BCITO Level 4 Carpentry qualification.
• Solid residential construction experience.
• Own carpentry tools and reliable transport.
• Ability to read plans and specifications.
• Strong work ethic and ability to work with the site team.

Responsibilities

• Carpentry across new residential construction projects.
• Framing, cladding and general building work.
• First and second fix through different stages of the build.
• Finishing work to a high standard.
• Working from plans and construction specifications.
• Opportunities to get involved with upcoming commercial projects.

Carpenter

Tradestaff is looking for a skilled carpenter to join a solid pipeline of construction projects across Cromwell. Start date: Immediate start
Pay rate: $32–36 per hour, depending on experience – paid weekly
