Job summary

Wildbear Construction Ltd in Auckland, North Island is seeking full-time Carpenters to join our team. We work across the Auckland Region on a range of framing, finishing, and renovation projects.

You will measure, cut, shape, assemble timber and other materials, read building plans, use hand and power tools, and uphold health and safety standards. A minimum of 2 years' experience and a strong team mindset are required; the rate is NZD 28–40 per hour for a minimum 30 hours per week.

Qualifications

• Have minimum 2 years relevant work experience.
• Good team player with site safety mind.
• Good work ethic, neat, punctual and organized.
• Good level of physical ability.

Responsibilities

• Measure, order, cut, shape, assemble and join timber and other materials.
• Construct, install, repair structures and fixtures such as framing, flooring, walls, roofing, cabinetry and doors.
• Interpret building plans and technical drawings.
• Use hand and power tools safely and effectively.
• Work independently or as part of a team to complete projects to a high standard.
• Follow health and safety protocols at all times.
• Any other duties reasonably required by the employer.

• Construct, install, and repair structures and fixtures such as framing, flooring, walls, roofing, cabinetry, and doors
• Interpret building plans and technical drawings
• Use hand and power tools safely and effectively
• Work independently or as part of a team to complete projects to a high standard
• Follow health and safety protocols at all times
• Any other duties the employer may reasonably require the employee to perform

We offer a competitive rate of $28 - $40 per hour for suitable candidate depending abilities, based on minimum 30 hours’ work per week.
