Careway is an ACC-funded provider delivering integrated, outcome-focused musculoskeletal care across New Zealand. We partner with multidisciplinary health providers, employers and ACC to coordinate high-quality rehabilitation that helps people access the right support at the right time.

We are looking for a Care Coordinator to join our team based in the heart of Mt Eden village. The role sits within an innovative ACC-funded Integrated Care Musculoskeletal (ICPMSK) programme that supports people with knee, shoulder, and spine injuries, helping them progress through rehabilitation and return to work safely and sustainably (if they are off work due to their injury).
Reporting to a Team Leader, you will manage a caseload of clients, coordinate the services and keep communication moving between clients, ACC, employers, treatment providers (including vocational providers if appropriate) and medical specialists.
This is a role for someone who enjoys being the steady central point of contact in a busy environment. You will need to be proactive, calm under pressure and comfortable following up with the right people at the right time so the clients remain supported and recovery plans stay on track.
Your work will directly contribute to client outcomes, team performance and the ongoing growth and innovations of Careway pathways.
You may be a physio or occupational therapist who is looking for a change or someone who has experience in healthcare, claim management, recovery and rehabilitation, insurance, customer service, administration, retail leadership, financial services or another people-focused environment. Direct case management and clinical experience is helpful, but not essential.
What matters most is that you are organised, curious, emotionally steady and confident communicating with a range of people. You will be someone who follows through, asks good questions and takes pride in helping clients and stakeholders get clarity.
