Job summary
KiwiQuest Ltd. is seeking casual caregivers, nurses and healthcare assistants to provide compassionate daily-living support and safe mobility assistance across Nelson and Tasman.
Flexible shifts with pay of NZD 25–28 per hour plus 8% holiday pay are available. Ideal candidates have caregiver/healthcare experience, empathy, patience and strong communication, and reside in the Nelson/Tasman region.
Qualifications
- Previous caregiver, healthcare assistant or nursing experience.
- Empathy, patience and strong communication skills.
- Caring and compassionate nature.
- Physical fitness for manual handling.
- Reliability and a positive attitude.
- Already located in the Nelson/Tasman region.
Responsibilities
- Assist residents with bathing, dressing, toileting and mealtimes
- Assist with mobility, transfers and safe hoist operation
- Provide companionship, activities and emotional support
- Dispose of waste in designated bins
- Observe and report changes in residents' physical or mental health
