RobLawMax Recruitment in Christchurch is seeking a Candidate Manager to join our tight-knit team. You will source and manage candidates across civil, build construction, and engineering sectors, acting as the key support to ensure the right talent hits the ground running on a busy temp desk.

Qualifications

• Preferably background in civil or construction (on the tools or in the sector).
• Good sense of humour, outgoing, energetic and chatty.
• Comfortable in a fast-paced environment.
• High degree of ethical awareness.
• Proficient in administrative tasks; desire to work autonomously when needed.

Responsibilities

• Build relationships with candidates and keep them engaged.
• Sourcing, screening, and placing top talent within local and migrant space.
• Be the friendly, positive first point of contact for candidates across civil, construction and engineering.
• Assist recruitment team with compliance requirements (pre-employment checks, references, on-boarding documents) and CRM management.
• Jump into industry events, client visits, and team socials that keep daily work interesting.

The role:

Candidate Manager - Blue-Collar Recruitment in a tight knit team

You'll be working alongside a Principal Consultant and be the go-to person for sourcing and managing candidates across Civil, Build Construction and Engineering sectors. Think of yourself as the key support, making sure the right talent is ready to hit the ground running on a busy temp desk.

Day to day you'll be:
