Job summary

PAK’nSAVE on Auckland's North Shore is seeking an experienced Cake Baker with cake decorating skills. You will work with pastry doughs, weigh, mix, deposit, roll and laminate as required, and contribute to a high standard of in-store baking.

Reporting to the Bakery Manager, you will be part of a team that supports training and development, with a focus on accuracy, presentation and customer service. The role is full-time with evening hours Tuesday to Saturday, 1:30 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.

Qualifications

• Cake decorating and patisserie skills are essential.
• Good numeracy and the ability to follow recipes and measurements precisely.
• Strong communication and English language skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Assist in running a smooth bakery department and meet targets.
• Work under the Bakery Manager and contribute to team efficiency.
• Prepare, weigh, mix, deposit, roll and laminate pastry doughs and cake batters as required.
