Odyssey’s Community Café in central Hamilton seeks an outgoing individual with cafe management experience and strong barista skills. You will run the cafe Tuesday to Saturday, 7:00am–3:30pm, and help create a welcoming space for customers and tāngata whai ora.

We have an exciting opportunity for an outgoing individual with café management experience and great barista skills to run Odyssey’s Community Café in central Hamilton, operating Tuesdays to Saturdays 7:00am to 3:30pm.
Odyssey is establishing a new peer-led community service within a café setting where people with mental health or addiction-related distress can drop in for coffee, connection, and receive support.
You will be responsible for the set up and day-to day operation of the café, which will be selling food and beverages to the general public, and to people seeking help. You will play a key role in helping to create a welcoming, inclusive space where customers, tāngata whai ora (people seeking wellness) and our staff can spend time and receive quality café services.
