Job summary

Tradestaff New Zealand is seeking an experienced Factory-Based Cabinet Maker to join our busy Auckland workshop. This hands-on role requires a minimum of 4 years’ cabinet making or joinery factory experience and the ability to work with a wide range of woodworking machinery.

You will manufacture and assemble custom cabinetry, read plans, set up and operate machines, and ensure high quality while meeting production deadlines.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years' experience in a factory-based cabinet making or joinery environment.
• Strong knowledge of cabinet construction methods and manufacturing processes.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a production team.
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to meet deadlines.
• Experience with Cabinet Vision, Mozaik, Microvellum or similar software is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Manufacture and assemble custom kitchens, wardrobes, vanities, office furniture, and bespoke cabinetry.
• Read and interpret plans, cutting lists, and shop drawings.
• Set up and safely operate woodworking machinery.
• Assemble cabinets to a high standard, ensuring quality and accuracy.
• Maintain productivity while meeting production deadlines.
• Keep the workshop clean, organised, and compliant with health and safety requirements.

Factory-Based Cabinet Maker – Experienced

We are looking for an experienced Factory-Based Cabinet Maker to join our busy manufacturing team. This is a hands-on role for a skilled tradesperson who takes pride in producing high-quality cabinetry and joinery.

The successful applicant must have a minimum of 4 years' experience in a cabinet making factory or joinery workshop and be confident working with a wide range of woodworking machinery.

Key Responsibilities
