Westpac New Zealand is seeking a Customer-focused Business Manager to join our Auckland-based Business Banking team. You’ll manage and grow a portfolio of business customers, offering tailored lending and financial solutions while delivering outstanding service.

In this role you’ll take ownership of lending requests, analyse customer finances, and collaborate with specialists across Westpac to support growth, risk management and great customer outcomes.

Qualifications

• Experience in Business Banking, Commercial Banking or related financial services environment.
• Strong lending and credit assessment capability.
• Sound understanding of business financials and ability to analyse and interpret financial information.

• Develop and manage strong relationships with business customers.

As a Business Manager, you'll manage and grow a portfolio of business customers, supporting them with their day-to-day banking needs while providing tailored lending and financial solutions. You'll work closely with customers to understand their goals, identify opportunities, and deliver advice that helps their businesses succeed.

You’ll be empowered to take ownership of lending requests, structure effective solutions, work collaboratively across Westpac, and contribute to the growth and success of both your customers and the wider Business Banking team.

• A proven track record of building trusted customer relationships and delivering exceptional service.
• Strong stakeholder management and negotiation skills.
• The ability to work autonomously while collaborating effectively within a team environment.
