Job summary

Ingram Micro is seeking a commercially driven Business Development Manager to accelerate Lenovo solutions growth across our partner network in New Zealand. You will cultivate strategic relationships with reseller partners, drive vendor engagement, and uncover new business opportunities that boost revenue and profit.

Working closely with Lenovo, internal sales teams, and customers, you will expand market share and partner adoption while delivering measurable business outcomes.

Qualifications

  • Proven track record of achieving sales, revenue, and profitability targets.
  • Strong understanding of the IT channel, technology distribution, or vendor ecosystem.
  • Experience with Lenovo or similar technology vendors is highly desirable.
  • Ability to build and maintain executive-level relationships with partners and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute business plans to drive Lenovo revenue, margin, and market share growth.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with reseller partners, Lenovo stakeholders, and internal sales teams.
  • Identify, qualify, and develop new sales opportunities across the Lenovo portfolio.
  • Educate and enable partners on Lenovo products, programs, promotions, and go-to-market strategies.
  • Conduct regular partner meetings, pipeline reviews, and business planning sessions.
  • Drive partner engagement through training, marketing initiatives, events, and joint customer activities.
  • Work closely with Vendor Business Manager to identify and accelerate Lenovo sales opportunities.
  • Monitor sales performance, pipeline health, and market trends to identify growth opportunities.
  • Collaborate with Lenovo representatives to execute strategic initiatives and vendor objectives.
  • Provide accurate forecasting, reporting, and business insights to sales leadership.
  • Develop competitive positioning strategies to increase Lenovo adoption and customer penetration.
  • Support large opportunities, customer presentations, and commercial negotiations where required.
  • Ensure a high level of customer and partner satisfaction through responsive support and relationship management.

We are seeking a commercially driven Business Development Manager to lead the growth of Lenovo solutions across our partner network in New Zealand. This role is responsible for developing strategic relationships with reseller partners, driving vendor engagement, identifying new business opportunities, and executing sales initiatives that deliver revenue and profit growth. Working closely with Lenovo, internal sales teams, and customers, you will play a key role in expanding market share, increasing partner adoption, and strengthening the Lenovo portfolio across the region. Role Responsibilities

Role Requirements
  • Previous experience in Business Development, Vendor Management, Channel Sales, or Account Management.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales, revenue, and profitability targets.
  • Strong understanding of the IT channel, technology distribution, or vendor ecosystem.
  • Experience working with Lenovo or similar technology vendors is highly desirable.
  • Ability to build and maintain executive-level relationships with partners and stakeholders.
  • Strong commercial acumen with the ability to identify, develop, and close growth opportunities.
  • Excellent presentation, communication, and negotiation skills.
  • Experience developing business plans, forecasts, and sales strategies.
  • Strong analytical and reporting capability with attention to detail.
  • Self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to work autonomously.
  • Proficiency with CRM platforms, Microsoft Office Suite, and sales reporting tools.
  • A collaborative approach with the ability to influence outcomes across cross-functional teams.
