Suncorp New Zealand is seeking an experienced Business Analyst on a fixed-term contract to 30 June 2027. You will work with stakeholders to identify opportunities, define requirements and support strategic initiatives across business and IT changes.

You will bridge business needs with technical solutions, facilitate discovery sessions, and deliver clear documentation and analysis to enable project success.

Job Description

Are you an experienced Business Analyst who enjoys solving complex business challenges and delivering meaningful outcomes?

We're seeking a collaborative and customer-focused Business Analyst to join our team on a fixed-term contract through to 30 June 2027. This is an exciting opportunity to work closely with business stakeholders and project teams to identify opportunities for improvement, define requirements, and support the successful delivery of strategic initiatives.

About The Role

As a Business Analyst, you will play a critical role in bridging the gap between business needs and technology solutions. You'll work with a broad range of stakeholders to understand current processes, identify improvement opportunities, and support the delivery of business and system changes.

Key Responsibilities Include

• Elicit, analyse and document business requirements.
• Facilitate stakeholder workshops, interviews and discovery sessions.

• Experience working across multiple projects and competing priorities.
• Knowledge of agile and/or waterfall delivery methodologies.

Desirable

• Experience within financial services, insurance or a regulated environment.
• Experience supporting technology, process improvement or transformation initiatives.
