Job summary

Foodstuffs South Island Limited in Dunedin is seeking a part-time Bulk Storeperson for our Dry Goods Distribution Centre. You will pick, pack, label and wrap stock to support delivery to over 200 stores across the South Island.

The role involves heavy lifting up to 25 kg, operate pallet jacks and other warehouse equipment, and a focus on safety and efficiency. Shifts include Friday and Sunday, with two daily options.

Qualifications

• Experience in picking, packing and wrapping stock.
• Ability to move heavy loads up to 25 kg.
• Familiarity with warehouse safety practices.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and complete product orders (pick, pack, label, wrap).
• Move stock using pallet jacks and machinery.
• Maintain safety guidelines and contribute to a safe workplace.
• Help ensure timely stock delivery to stores across the region.

About the role:

As a Bulk Storeperson in our Dunedin Distribution Centre, you will play an important role in getting our warehouse stock out to one of our 200+ stores across the South Island. Working out of our Dry Goods warehouse, your day-to-day responsibilities include:

• Preparing and completing product orders (pick, pack, label, wrap)
• Bulk repetitive picking – heavy lifting up to 25kg
• Operating machinery and electric pallet jacks to move stock
• Keeping you and your team safe by following our Health and Safety guidelines
• Reach daily targets and contribute to feeding the South Island

We have the following shift patterns avaliable:

Friday & Sunday: 07:00-15:30
Friday & Sunday: 15:15-23:45
