Foodstuffs South Island Limited is seeking a Trading Systems Support Assistant to back Merchandise trading teams with the PMR system and related business systems. You will become a SME in PMR, troubleshoot, train users, document processes, and assist with data analysis and improvements.

About the role:

As our Trading Systems Support Assistant, you will support our Merchandise trading teams with our purpose-built Promotional Management for Retail (PMR) system and the business systems that impact the Foodstuffs South Island (FSSI) teams.

This role combines system support, business systems expertise and data analysis with end-user engagement to ensure our Retail & Merchandise teams can perform their roles effectively and efficiently.

You’ll become a subject matter expert (SME) in PMR and enjoy understanding how systems work and the business processes they support so that you can troubleshoot, provide systems training, document system processes and create user manuals, analyse system data, test enhancements and support continuous improvement.

About you:

You'll have a strong systems mindset, excellent attention to detail, and the confidence to communicate with and influence stakeholders across the business. You enjoy helping others, learning new tools, and finding solutions when issues arise.

Ideally, you will also have:

• The ability to build effective working relationships with a wide range of people
• Proven analytical and problem-solving skills including investigating system issues, identifying root causes alongside the ability to produce and interpret data
• High attention to detail and strong organisational skills
• Proven experience using Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and SharePoint
