We’re looking for a strategic and influential building services leader to shape QLDC’s Building Services function, uphold our accreditation as a Building Control Authority, and champion excellence in how we deliver building services for our community.
The Building Services Manager is ultimately responsible for the quality of Queenstown Lake’s District built environment through the effective leadership of people, management of resources and the setting of high standards to be achieved. The management of QLDC’s accreditation as a Building Control Authority is a critical component to this role.
As part of our Planning & Development directorates leadership team, you’ll lead a large, high-performing team responsible for building processes, inspections and administration, ensuring QLDC continues to set the benchmark for Building Consent Authorities across Aotearoa. You’ll provide specialist expertise, drive continuous improvement, and foster a positive, values-driven culture that supports high-quality outcomes for our community.
