Job summary

Gateway Glass & Aluminium Ltd is seeking a Builder / Aluminium Joinery Installer for our Tokoroa branch. This permanent, full-time role involves installing aluminium joinery for commercial and residential projects and completing finishing work on-site.

You will liaise with team leaders, stay open in communication with operations and management, and take pride in delivering high-quality workmanship. A NZ driver's licence and pre-employment drug test are required.

Qualifications

• Must be self-motivated and able to work well independently and in a team.
• Full NZ Driver's Licence and ability to pass pre-employment drug test are mandatory.
• Applicants must reside in NZ and be a NZ resident or hold a valid work visa.
• Experience with aluminium joinery installation is preferred.

Gateway Glass & Aluminium Ltd currently has a vacancy for a Builder / Aluminium Joinery Installer. This is a permanent, full-time role based in our Tokoroa branch.

The role involves:

• Liaising with team leaders regarding the progression of jobs
• Installing aluminium joinery - commercial and residential
• All finishing work, architraving, scribing etc
• Open communication with team leaders, operations, and management

To fit in with our awesome team, you will need to be someone who works well on their own, as well as with others, and take pride in ensuring our quality product is installed to a high standard.

This position could be part of our senior team, depending on the applicant's skills, ability, and / or qualifications. Remuneration will reflect this.

We work closely with BCITO, and if the successful applicant is interested in pursuing qualifications, we encourage this. We have a proven success formula with a history of two apprentices taking out Apprentice of the Year and another taking out runner-up.

An LBP would be advantageous but is not a necessary requirement.

Due to this role requiring driving, a full NZ Driver's Licence and the ability to pass our pre-employment drug test are a must.

Applicants must currently reside in NZ and be a NZ resident or have a relevant work visa.
