Job summary

JenBro Insurance, a Taupo-based NZ-owned brokerage, is seeking an organised administrator in our engine room behind the scenes. You’ll support brokers, process new policies, renewals and endorsements, and handle policy documentation with accuracy, delivering exceptional service to clients.

Experience in the insurance sector is preferred but not essential, and you’ll join a close-knit team with ongoing training, a supportive culture, and opportunities to grow into accounts, claims or brokering as

This is the engine room of our brokerage. Working alongside our brokers, you'll help keep everything running smoothly behind the scenes. While you won't be providing insurance advice, you'll play a vital role in ensuring our clients receive exceptional service through accurate and efficient support.

Key responsibilities

Processing new policies, renewals and endorsements

Supporting brokers with quotations, insurer comparisons and claims

Preparing policy documentation and completing administrative tasks

Assisting with accounts administration if you have experience in this area

Processing monthly payments / premium funding

About you

A sharp eye for detail in a compliance-focused environment

Excellent organisational and time management skills

The ability to remain calm and focused under pressure

Strong computer and administrative skills

Clear, confident communication

Previous insurance industry experience (preferred but not essential)

Positive attitude, a willingness to learn, the ability to work independently, and a strong work ethic
