Job summary

European Bakery Ltd in Frankton, South Island is seeking a reliable packer for our Packing Department. You will slice and bag bread, label and package products for our retail partners, and box items for cafes and restaurants. Maintain a clean, well-organised workspace and contribute to accurate order preparation.

Shifts run from 1pm to around 10pm in a full-time, seven-day operation. The role suits someone who is self-motivated, can work weekends, and is comfortable standing for long periods.

Qualifications

• Able to lift bread crates and stand all day.
• Willing to work in a 7-day operation with weekends.
• NZ resident or right to work in NZ.

We're looking for a reliable team player to join our Packing Department. This position is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced setting, takes initiative, and enjoys working with their hands.

What You'll Be Doing

• Slicing and bagging bread
• Labelling and packaging products for our retail partners
• Boxing items for cafes and restaurants
• Ensuring our orders are packed perfectly for our customers
• Keeping things clean and organised at the end of your shift

What You Need to Bring

• A high level of self-drive and initiative
• A positive can do attitude
• A good understanding of both written and spoken English
• Physical fitness - you'll be required to lift bread crates and boxes and be on your feet all day
• The ability to work in a 7-day-per-week operation (your roster will include weekends and public holidays, but you will have 5 days on and 2 consecutive days off. As you will need to come in for a face to face interview you will need to be in Queenstown.
• You must be a New Zealand resident or have the legal right to work in New Zealand

Hours & Shifts

• Shifts will start at 1pm and finish at around 10 PM - there may be some variation due to business volume and fluctuation.
