Job summary

ZURU Edge is seeking a Copy & Communications Intern to support the New Product Development team. You will help shape brand voice, draft packaging and product copy, and collaborate with Marketing, Design, Product Development, Customer Service, and Compliance teams.

Ideal candidates are sharp writers with attention to detail and a passion for brand-building, beauty, and FMCG. No professional experience required; a strong portfolio or coursework is welcome.

Qualifications

• Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills with a keen eye for tone, clarity, and detail.
• Genuine interest in beauty, lifestyle, or FMCG brands and consumer storytelling.
• No professional experience required; a strong portfolio, coursework samples, or personal writing projects are welcome.

Responsibilities

• Assist in maintaining and updating brand tone-of-voice guidelines, messaging frameworks, and copy style guides.
• Support brainstorming sessions for brand and product names, helping generate options that are unique, ownable, and able to clear trademark checks.
• Assist with early-stage brand positioning work, including audience profiling, white space identification, and claims development.
• Draft first-pass copy for product descriptions, FAQs, and web content for review.
• Proofread and edit copy across channels for grammar, clarity, and consistency with brand tone.
• Assist with formatting and building presentation decks, brand scripts, and internal playbooks.
