Wesco Anixter in Wellington seeks a proactive Trade Counter Sales & Office Manager to ensure a professional, well‑run branch. You’ll handle walk‑in customers, quotes, invoicing and stock management while coordinating warehouse and office tasks to keep operations smooth.

You’ll balance customer needs with admin and stock priorities, maintain branch security, and support events and training. A hands‑on, team‑focused approach is essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• Experience in trade counter sales, customer service, branch operations or warehousing.
• Strong communication across face-to-face, phone and email channels.
• Organised approach balancing customer needs with admin and warehouse priorities.
• Attention to detail in orders, invoices, stock and quotations.

Responsabilités

• Support customers via walk-ins, email and calls with sales assistance.
• Prepare quotations and complete invoicing and packing slips.
• Pick, pack, dispatch orders and manage stock and warehouse tasks.
• Coordinate stock takes, local purchasing and supplier requirements.
• Keep showroom, warehouse and office areas well presented and secure.
• Lead branch opening/closing and coordinate weekly meetings and training.
• Support branch events and ensure trade counter displays run smoothly.
