Job summary

Farmers New Zealand is seeking a Studio Manager to lead our Bobbi Brown beauty counter, drive sales targets and deliver outstanding customer experiences. You will coach a small team, run promotions and keep stock levels in check to grow the counter.

If you have retail or beauty experience, a passion for makeup artistry, strong communication and time management, you could be a great fit. A certificate or diploma in makeup artistry is preferred, and team leadership experience is advantageous.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in retail or beauty and achieving sales targets.
• Passion for beauty and helping customers feel great.
• Strong makeup artistry skills; certificate/diploma preferred.
• Great time management, problem solving and communication skills.
• Attention to detail and making the counter look beautiful.

This is a permanent full-time position. The successful candidate will work the following roster:

• Tuesday: 8:45am - 4pm
• Thursday: 8:45am - 4pm
• Friday: 8:45am - 4pm
• Saturday: 8:45am - 4:15pm

The Role:

You will be a natural born leader who works well in a team and can lead by example, share their knowledge and skills, be open to implementing new business ideas and above all want to grow your counter and business to its full potential. You will also:

• Manage targets and sales figures

• Manage and maintain appropriate stock levels
• Be the glue that holds the counter together.

About You:

We are seeking a Studio Manager to join our team who has:

• Proven experience working within the Retail and or Beauty industry and achieving sales targets.
• A passion for all things Beauty, and helping our customers feel great about themselves.
• Strong technical competency in makeup artistry, ideally a certificate or diploma in makeup artistry.
• Great time management, problem solving and communication skills.
• A keen eye for detail and making all things, including your Counter look beautiful!
• Experience managing a small team would also be an advantage.
