North Shore Motor Holdings Ltd Continental Cars BMW in Auckland is seeking an experienced Technician for their Wairau Valley Service Centre. You will work with factory trained technicians, using genuine BMW parts and diagnostic equipment. Hours 7am-6pm Mon-Fri, with 1 in 4 Saturdays 9am-1pm.

You should have a Level 4 Automotive Certificate or 3+ years of relevant experience, strong mechanical and electronic diagnostic skills, and good computer/communication abilities. WOF knowledge is a plus.

Qualifications

• Level 4 Automotive Certificate or 3+ years of relevant experience.
• WOF certification is preferred.
• Strong mechanical and electronic diagnostic skills.
• Good computer and communication skills.
• Detail-oriented with a positive attitude and work ethic.

Responsabilités

• Vehicles are serviced, maintained, and repaired to BMW and company standards.
• Electrical and mechanical repairs, including suspension, steering, brakes, driveshafts, and air conditioning servicing.
• Repairs and maintenance on EV and Hybrid vehicles using diagnostic equipment.
• May inspect vehicles and issue WOF certificates or detail works required to obtain WOF.
• Inform foreman/manager of cost overruns and delays promptly.
• Support other technicians in the team with difficult work.
