Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a Blockchain Security Engineer to join our client in Queenstown to safeguard digital assets and smart contracts. You will perform audits, conduct penetrations, and implement security best practices across blockchain systems, working with developers and clients to uphold security standards.

The role focuses on identifying vulnerabilities, analyzing transactions, and designing resilient security controls.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Security Engineer, Penetration Tester, or Blockchain Auditor.
• Strong understanding of blockchain technologies, smart contracts, and vulnerabilities.
• Proficiency with security auditing tools and techniques for blockchain applications.
• Knowledge of cryptography, network security, and secure coding practices.
• Experience with smart contract languages (e.g., Solidity, Vyper) is highly desirable.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform security audits and code reviews of smart contracts and blockchain applications.
• Conduct penetration testing to identify vulnerabilities in blockchain systems.
