Job summary

SRG Global is seeking experienced Blaster Painters to service assets across the Bay of Plenty, NZ and beyond. Roles involve maintaining penstocks, tanks and bridges with regular travel to North Island sites, potentially staying away for 2 weeks or more.

We offer a permanent full-time position with minimum 40 hours per week, competitive wages based on experience, and a safety-first environment. NZ-wide travel and compliance with health and safety are essential.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of blasting painting experience in an industrial field.
• Current Full Drivers licence.
• Knowledge and experience in industrial coatings, epoxy, concrete coatings and concrete repairs (desirable).
• Quality Assurance experience (desirable).
• Excellent communication skills.
• Knowledge and a proven track record of high compliance in health and safety.
• Ability to travel regularly for work.

Responsibilities

• Maintain assets on site across multiple sites including penstocks, tanks and bridges.
• Travel away from home for site assignments (up to 2 weeks or more).
• Uphold safety and quality standards in all blasting and painting tasks.

The Role

We are seeking experienced Blaster Painters to work across the Bay of Plenty, New Zealand and beyond. The role includes maintaining a range of assets on site, from penstocks to tanks and bridges. Must be willing to travel as our sites are spread across the North Island and could see you away from home for 2 weeks or more at a time.

Requirements:

• At least 2 years of blasting painting experience in an industrial field
• Current Full Drivers licence
• Knowledge and experience in industrial coatings, epoxy, concrete coatings and concrete repairs (desirable)
• Quality Assurance experience (desirable)
• Excellent communication skills
• Knowledge and a proven track record of high compliance in health and safety
• Ability to travel regularly for work
• Computer literacy, experience using Procore would be an advantage
• Certification in IRATA, NACE, confined spaces and working at heights would be an advantage
