Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a highly analytical Biostatistician to support pharmaceutical R&D in the Queenstown area. You will design trial protocols, SAPs, and CRFs, and perform statistical analyses of clinical trial data using SAS or R.

This hybrid role combines remote analysis and on-site collaboration with clinical scientists and regulatory teams, with opportunities to contribute to CSRs, manuscripts, and regulatory submissions while staying current with evolving statistical methods.

Qualifications

• Master's or Ph.D. in Biostatistics, Statistics, or a related quantitative field.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience as a Biostatistician in the pharmaceutical/biotech industry.
• Proficiency in SAS or R.
• Strong understanding of clinical trial design, statistical inference, and regulatory guidelines for drug development.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a hybrid environment.

Responsibilities

• Design clinical trial protocols, SAPs, and CRFs to meet study objectives.
• Perform statistical analysis of clinical trial data using SAS or R.
• Interpret statistical results and contribute to CSRs, manuscripts, and regulatory submissions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure appropriate statistical methodology.
• Stay updated on statistical methodologies and regulatory requirements in pharma.
• Develop and validate statistical programs and tools.
