AsureQuality's Biosecurity team is seeking a casual Biosecurity Field Officer to support NIAS activities in Hawke's Bay and Napier. Training is provided, and hours vary from 0 to 40 per week, daytime only, outdoors.
Successful candidates will join a mission-driven team protecting New Zealand from exotic pests and diseases, with flexible start and finish times and a focus on safety and accuracy.

AsureQuality's Biosecurity team are looking to add one new team member to help deliver services that protect New Zealand against exotic pests and disease incursions. Dates of work:
5 January 2027 to the end of March 2027 (approximately 2-3 months, weather dependent).
Mandatory Induction:
Successful candidates must be available to attend a one-day induction on either Tuesday 4 November 2026 or Wednesday 5 November 2026 (date to be confirmed).
Location: We will hold the training at our Laboratory in Lynfield, Auckland. Meeting daily at our office in Hastings. These casual roles will involve varying hours. This means the hours could be anything from 0 to 40 hours per week. Can only be worked during daylight hours, as these roles involve working outdoors.
