AsureQuality is hiring a Biosecurity Field Officer on a casual basis to support the National Invasive Ant Surveillance programme. The role involves outdoor fieldwork, day-time hours, and training is provided.

Job Description
AsureQuality's Biosecurity team are looking to add one new team member to help deliver services thatprotect New Zealand against exotic pests and disease incursions.
Dates of work:
5 January 2027 to the end of March 2027 (approximately 2-3 months, weather dependent).
Mandatory Induction:
Successful candidates must be available to attend a one-day induction on either Tuesday 4 November 2026 or Wednesday 5 November 2026 (date to be confirmed).
Location:We will hold the training at our Laboratory in Lynfield, Auckland.
Meeting daily at our office in Hastings.
Thesecasualroles will involve varying hours. This means the hours could be anything from 0 to 40 hours per week. Can only be worked during daylight hours, as these roles involve working outdoors.
