Novotel Christchurch Airport, part of Hind Management, seeks an experienced People & Culture Manager to partner with hotel leadership and lead the employee experience for ~120 staff. You’ll drive recruitment, employee relations, wellbeing, and development while embedding Te Ao Māori and inclusive practices across the operation.

Bring solid NZ HR experience, strong advisory skills, and a hands-on approach to engage with teams on the floor.

Qualifikationen

• Solid HR/P&C experience and ability to lead P&C in a busy hotel.
• Strong working knowledge of New Zealand employment legislation and HR best practice.
• Comfortable giving sound advice to managers and handling difficult conversations.
• Able to connect with people across hotel operations and the wider national team.

• Managing recruitment and selection, onboarding and the employee lifecycle
• Providing confident, practical advice to leaders on employment relations and policy
• Coaching managers to build people leadership capability
• Supporting workforce planning and right-sizing hotel teams
• Coordinating engagement, recognition, wellbeing initiatives and events
• Championing benefits and ensuring awareness across the team
• Leading P&C initiatives and partnering with Learning & Development
• Preparing P&C reporting and analysing people data
• Collaborating with H&S for a safe workplace
• Ensuring an inclusive culture where everyone belongs
