Job summary

AMELI TECHNOLOGY LIMITED in Auckland, North Island, is seeking an experienced Beauty Therapist to join our team. You will work 30-45 hours per week with an hourly rate of NZ$27 to NZ$33, depending on your skills and experience.

You will discuss clients’ beauty needs, perform facial and skincare treatments, nail and lash services as required, and provide professional advice. You will also manage bookings, maintain client records, and ensure cleanliness and high service standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years’ experience delivering a range of beauty treatments.
• Flexibility to work Monday to Sunday.
• Strong knowledge of beauty products, techniques and trends.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
• Attention to detail and commitment to high service standards.
• Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced team.

Responsibilities

• Discuss clients’ beauty needs, assess skin condition and recommend treatments.
• Provide facial therapies and skincare treatments, including cleansing, exfoliation, masks and other non-invasive beauty treatments.
• Perform facial and hand massage as part of facial and specialised hand treatments.
• Evaluate the effectiveness of beauty treatments and products and provide appropriate aftercare advice.
• Provide nail services including manicures, pedicures, nail polish, basic nail art and other hand treatments.
• Perform lash treatments such as lash extensions, lifts and tints.
• Advise clients on skincare, hand care, nail care, lash care and suitable beauty products.
• Manage bookings, arrange appointments and maintain accurate client records.
• Keep all treatment areas, tools and equipment clean, hygienic and organised.
• Provide professional and personalised customer service to build positive, long-term client relationships.
• Keep up to date with relevant beauty treatments, techniques and products.
