Beauty & You in Amberley, Canterbury is seeking a part-time Beauty Therapist to join our team. You will perform facials, waxing, manicures, pedicures, and other treatments, with onsite training provided to maintain high standards.

Responsibilities

We are seeking an experienced Beauty Therapist to join our team at Beauty & You in Amberley, Canterbury. This is a part-time position with the chance to pick up more hours going forward. Beauty & You offers exceptional beauty services to our valued clients. As a Beauty Therapist, you will be at the heart of our business, providing professional beauty treatments in a welcoming and professional environment. This role is essential to maintaining our reputation for quality service and client satisfaction.

What you'll be doing

Providing a full range of beauty treatments including facials, advanced skin treatments, manicures & pedicures, waxing, tinting, electrolysis & laser hair removal would be an advantage, but onsite training will be provided.

Consulting with clients to understand their needs and recommend appropriate treatments & skincare

Maintaining a clean, hygienic and professional treatment environment at all times

Recording client details and treatment outcomes accurately to ensure continuity of care

Building and maintaining strong client relationships to encourage repeat business and loyalty

Keeping up to date with the latest beauty trends, products and treatment techniques

Operating till systems and handling payments professionally

Supporting the team in maintaining high standards of service and cleanliness

Be available Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and every Saturday

What we’re looking for

A recognised qualification in Beauty Therapy (experienced preferred but not essential)

Knowledge of a wide range of beauty treatments and that can be performed to the highest standard consistently

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with clients

Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining professional standards

An understanding of health and safety practices in a beauty setting

Flexibility and reliability, with the ability to work part-time hours that suit business needs with the option of increasing hours going forward

Be well groomed and take pride in your appearance

Preferred experience with client management systems or booking software
