Job summary

North Loburn School invites a Certificated teacher to join our primary and intermediate team for the start of 2027. Our students are motivated ākonga, and you will model the PRIDE values while supporting a shared vision of nurturing well-rounded citizens with a lifelong passion for learning.

You will teach across Years 1–8, collaborate with a supportive staff, engage with whānau, and contribute to our rural community in North Canterbury.

Qualifications

• Holds a current certificated teaching credential for NZ.
• Experience teaching the New Zealand curriculum.
• Demonstrates flexibility and teamwork in the classroom.
• Engages with learners, whānau and the wider school community.

Responsibilities

• Teach primary and intermediate students (Years 1–8) following the NZ curriculum.
• Model and nurture the school values (PRIDE) in daily practice.
• Collaborate with colleagues to plan and deliver engaging lessons.
