Four Square Wainui Rd in Canterbury is seeking a friendly, reliable team member to join our Checkout/Cafe Team. You will operate a checkout, prepare beverages, and assist with packing groceries in a fast-paced store environment.

You will work with a committed team that prides itself on quality produce and service, with weekend shifts required. Barista skills are a plus, and staff discounts are offered along with hands-on training.

Qualifications

• Physical fitness to stand and move around all day.
• Ability to work in a busy checkout environment.
• Strong customer service mindset and communication.
• Experience handling customer transactions is preferred.
• Reliability and a good work ethic are essential.
• Ability to work under pressure and maintain accuracy.
• Barista skills are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Operate a Checkout.
• Lotto operations.
• Packing groceries.
• Cleaning and maintaining workspace.
• Prepare and serve beverages including coffee, gelato and smoothies.
• Assist with grocery team and other supermarket duties.
• Maintain Health & Safety and Food Safety standards.
