Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience working as a Barista.
• Confident knowledge of espresso extraction and coffee preparation.
• Experience working in a busy hospitality environment.
• Ability to remain calm and organized during peak periods.
• Strong customer service and communications skills.
• Experience using commercial coffee equipment.
• Basic POS and cash-handling skills.
• Strong reliability and punctuality.
• Professional appearance and positive attitude.
• Ability to work flexible rosters including weekends.

Responsibilities

• Produce espresso-based coffees and beverages to established quality standards.
• Operate and care for commercial coffee machines and grinders.
• Maintain beverage quality through high-volume service.
• Manage customer orders and provide efficient counter service.
• Process customer payments and operate POS systems.
• Respond professionally to customer preferences and requests.
• Prepare and display cafe food products appropriately.
• Maintain cleanliness throughout the coffee station and front-of-house areas.
• Complete routine cleaning of equipment and spaces.
• Monitor stock and assist with replenishment.
• Support opening, service, and closing operations.
• Follow all food safety and workplace procedures.
