Job summary

Foodstuffs South Island Limited is offering a permanent full-time Bakery Apprentice role. You will learn dough production, including mixing, shaping and baking, while ensuring shelves stay stocked with fresh bread and sweet goods.

You will undergo NZ Certificate in Baking Level 4 training, work with a supportive team, and prepare for the next day’s production. Overseas applicants must meet NZ work eligibility requirements.

Responsibilities

• Dough production; mixing, shaping and baking products.
• Learn scratch baking of daily bread and sweet goods.
• Assist with icing and decorating cakes as needed.
• Help prep and plan for following day’s production to ensure smooth operations.
