Meridian is hiring a Cloud Data Platform Engineer to deliver the Azure Databricks platform and Azure infra, ensuring security, reliability, and availability by design. You’ll enable data and AI workloads by treating platform capabilities as code and supporting internal teams with scalable, governed services.

Qualifications

• 5+ years engineering and operating cloud platforms in production.
• Azure networking, identity (Entra ID, RBAC, PIM), storage, Key Vault, and monitoring.
• Infrastructure-as-code (Terraform) and DevOps practices as defaults.
• Experience running shared platforms used by multiple teams with guardrails.
• Technical ownership at platform level: setting direction and standards.
• Security governance: access models, network isolation, secrets, and audit.
• Degree in a technical discipline or 5+ years relevant experience.
• Growth mindset, collaborative and adaptable in fast-paced environments.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engineering, operation, and administration of Meridian's Azure Databricks platform and its Azure infrastructure.
• Ensure platform is secure, reliable, and available by design.
• Operate platform capabilities as code to enable data and AI workloads safely.
