Job summary

WSP in New Zealand seeks a Technical Director – Aviation to lead the aviation service line across the country. Based in Auckland, Wellington or Christchurch, you will drive client-focused design and project management, shaping outcomes for major transport projects.

You will grow the aviation practice by leveraging global know-how, manage senior teams, and build long-term client relationships while delivering exceptional results.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 10 years’ professional experience in a related discipline.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in aviation related management position.
• Experience developing new business to increase revenue and market share.
• Strong project delivery experience with commercial awareness.
• Experience growing client relationships and opportunities.
• Experience coordinating resources across multiple projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead aviation service line strategy and performance.
• Provide leadership of projects and ensure adherence to PM procedures.
• Engage with clients to grow opportunities and revenue.
• Develop and maintain the client pipeline across the service line.
• Collaborate to offer multi-discipline aviation services.
• Monitor project performance to achieve client outcomes.
